The Computing and Mathematics Research spans a range of areas that are based on research methods from computer science and mathematics. A key aim is to assist researchers in exploiting opportunities for engagement with academia, industry, and the community. Supporting the generation of external funding to support research activities and multi-disciplinary, collaborative projects are also key priorities.
A wide variety of research areas fall under the Institute. A common feature across the institute is a focus on applied research across a wide spectrum of application areas, with a strong engagement of users from business, government, community organisations and international collaborations.
